About the Book

WISDOM FROM KING SOLOMON (208 pages) is an enjoyable and easy to read reference book of King Solomon's invaluable wisdom. Proverbs of King Solomon, derived from the Holy Bible, have been organized into 150 different subjects making the wisdom inherent in each proverb much more easily accessed and assimilated. Also included is a description of King Solomon given by Tamrin the Merchant who was sent to Jerusalem by the Queen of Sheba, Queen of Ethiopia, original poetry, an essay and a glossary of uncommonly used words. Given in “Wisdom From King Solomon” are simple guidelines for living a happy and prosperous life, and enabling those around us to do the same. It is practical wisdom to be used in every day life, in all our dealings and interactions. It is a wonderful reference book which covers just about every subject. The wisdom shared within the pages of this book is important in these times especially. King Solomon's words, sweeter than honey and smoother than oil, express truths about natural laws of creation, based on patterns the natural world runs by, of which we are also a part of. When we, in our own lives, and in the lives of our communities and tribes, consider and live in accordance with these natural laws, then we become so very strong as a people, with the power of all creation backing us. It is only when we do not live within the laws of creation, that destruction starts to set in. The wisdom within this book has the power to create unconquerable people, tribes and communities. It basically outlines the ABCs of living in perfect and divine love with one another, which is truly the only law of creation. “Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things the I can desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retains her.” Over 150 different subjects, arranged alphabetically which include: Animals, Balance, Beauty, Brothers, Children, Diligence, The Faithful, Friends, Giving, Happiness, The Heart, Humility, Life, Love, The Most High, Prosperity, The Soul, Speaking, Truth, Understanding, Wisdom, & Youth.

About the Author

Katherine Jo Howard, also known as SOUL WHISPER, grew up in a small town in southwestern Ohio. She was always interested in arts and music, and actively involved herself in these in any ways that she had the opportunity to do so. In 1994, at the age of 17, she was accepted to Kent State School of Music in Ohio as a Vocal Performance major, but decided instead to travel, and in doing so, gained much content for well over one hundred songs she has written. She traveled all around the country, to every corner, and just about everywhere in between, to Rainbow Gatherings, music festivals & concerts, hitchhiking most of the time, selling hand made jewelry and clothing for a living, as well as singing and playing Native American flute. She was once featured in a Boulder, Colorado, college newspaper art section when a reporter found her playing flute on Pearl Street. Katherine became more and more interested in spirituality and living a very pure life. She became very attracted to Rastafarian culture, and became embedded in it. In the spring of 1999, she started studying “The Kebra Nagast” (in Amharic, “The Glory of Kings”), a holy book of Ethiopia that tells the story of The Queen of Sheba and her journey from Ethiopia to Jerusalem to meet King Solomon to obtain some of his wisdom for the benefit of her people. This deepened her understanding of the Old Testament of the Bible, which she had been intently studying. She had never been able to read and understand the Old Testament before reading the Kebra Nagast. Now, she became able to read “in between the lines” and find the true import of what was being said, despite all of the translations and interpretations given by English and British lawyers. When she began studying Proverbs, she was so inspired by them, that she wanted others to be able to easily access the invaluable wisdom contained in them. It was in June of 1999 that “Wisdom From King Solomon” was conceived. All of the work of organizing the proverbs into their different subjects was done while Katherine was living on the road and in the forests, traveling all around, going to festivals and camping - mostly in west Marin County, California, and also further north on up into Humboldt County and Oregon. By the autumn of 2001, Katherine had settled into living in a house, obtained a computer, and began putting “Wisdom...” into book form. She also continued to write songs about how to truly unite as a people and live together in harmony, free of unnecessary suffering. In the spring of 2002, “Wisdom...” was completed, but still needed many revisions and re-formatting. She continued an in-depth study of the Bible, copying and writing by hand all the way from the book of Acts to the end of Revelation, so that she could more fully grasp the knowledge it contained. In the summer of 2003, she began working with Roots and Culture International Arts and Music Production, and performing original music on all real instruments from around the world with a group called TABERNACLE. She sang, played percussion, tamboura and bansuri flute. In the spring of 2004, she began a devoted study and practice of Surat Shabd Yoga Meditation, which really brought all her previous studies to a heightened level of awareness, and deepened those understandings even more. How this practice affected her Soul cannot be put into words. That spring, she also began giving seminars called “Higher Taste” which provided information to people on how to eat in order to proliferate the beneficial flora in the body and discourage the growth of destructive flora, a root cause of many physical and mental ailments, that is habitually overlooked in the field of medicine. In the autumn of 2005, the format of “Wisdom From King Solomon” was completed, and by the summer of 2006, it was perfected, the cover art completed by Visionary Artist, Ithiel Amrham, and published. In 2007, Katherine connected with Golden Gate School of Feng Shui in the San Francisco Bay Area, and began the Eco-Sustainable Classical Feng Shui Professional Certification Program in 2008, which she graduated from in July 2009. In addition to promoting "Wisdom from King Solomon" in order to spread this invaluable wisdom to those with ears to hear and eyes to see, she is currently also building three businesses: Soul Whisper Consulting www.soulwhisperconsulting.com, Home Clear Real Estate Consulting www.yourhomesoldrightnow.com and World Management and Booking (www.worldmanagementandbooking.com coming soon). Right now, she lives in west Marin County, California, with her ten year old daughter, Anbesa. Katherine also continues to be involved in arts and music production, writing songs, and studying and playing music. She has many plans for the future, including producing CDs of her music, touring and performing, publishing a food-preparation book, various children’s books, and simply spreading the vision of perfection and harmony in all of our lives through the powerful mediums of music, art, poetry, literature and natural, healthy living. Listen to the Soul, hear what She has to say. All the day we listen to the mind and the material world, Sit, go within, and listen to the Soul, Hear what She has to say...
