About the Author

Canadian born, Andrea Hansen spent her formative years on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia and in Costa Rica. At the age of 19, she graduated from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, with Majors in English Literature and Sociology, and a Minor in Psychology, Hons. B.A. Post university she worked as an environmental activist doing PR, public education, fundraising, consulting and children’s television, in both government and private sectors. After surviving a near-death experience on the eve of her twenty-fourth birthday, her spiritual journey began in earnest. She has traveled extensively in her research of ‘The FireFlower’, which took over ten years to complete.
