He describes a great grandfather who was a substantial cotton grower, an uncle who served many years as justice of the peace, and an aunt who was addicted to snuff. Huddleston also provides details of his life growing up. He remembers the carefree days of living on a farm in rural Tennessee and hunting with his friends. The stories include descriptions of working at a local gas station in Lebanon, Tennessee, whose shop also ran an illegal bootlegging business, and of learning to fly at a local grass airstrip. With often humorous insights, Huddleston Family History captures the story of one man, his family, and their relationships through the years.

About the Author

Henry Stonewall Huddleston joined the Marine Corps and was a sheet metal worker and mechanical contractor. He later acted as the president of Design Engineering Services in San Francisco, California. He is now retired.
