About the Author
Dr. Buchner started his aviation career in the United States Navy in 1968. He has worked on the P2v, P3, C-121, A-3, H-3, T-28, C-130, A-4, TC-4C, A-6, aircraft, tire shop supervisor and collateral duty inspector on the USS Coral Sea, Catapult crew for the A-3 on the U.S.S. F.D. Roosevelt while in the military, and numerous civilian aircraft to include various models of Cessna, Fairchild, Piper, Saberliner and Gulf stream. Dr. Buchner was an EP-3E flight engineer, quality control inspector/supervisor, and maintenance control supervisor, work center supervisor for both maintenance and inspection work centers, and instructor for part 147 & 65 schools.
