About the Author

The author, Ralph L. Stephenson, is a lifelong student of the Bible and has academic training in economics, accounting, mathematics, business, science, and engineering. In addition, the author is a successful business person. He became interested in the subject many years ago and this interest was increased when he started collecting coins and money of the Bible. This activity led to a study of the economic life of the times of the Bible. He consulted with several professors of theology in the preparation of this book. These professors reviewed parts of the manuscript. This book was actually 25 years in preparation, information was gathered "here a little and there a little" from many sources.
