About the Book

The book is a true story about a teenager who was mistreated at home and thrown out into the streets. She was abused in the street like milions of other homeless teenagers.

Despite these traumas she was carrying deep in her subconscious, she didn't become full of hatred and vengeance against the society that closed its eyes on her sufferings.

With the help of some kind souls she returned to society and led a normal, though short, life afterwards.

About the Author

Nomi was born in a small town at the German-Polish border. In 1941 the family emigrated to Russia where she graduated from the Moscow Pedagogic Institute of Foreign Languages. She taught languages in several East European countries. Later she worked as a program specialist at Radio Liberty in Germany.

Eventually, she retired to California where she has written several boooks.
