About the Author

Doris M. Jones grew up in Dallas, Texas, the second child of seven children in a close-knit family. She was married and divorced and has five children, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Doris works as a medical scheduler in a doctor's office. She also loves to write and walk backwards at a fast pace in her spare time. Doris has received several writing awards, and has published about seventy-five poems in different poetry anthologies.
