About the Author

I have had some that ask me how do you write poetry? To me it is a gift from God and I must give Him all the glory. Each poem in these books was inspired by the Holy Ghost. I was a poor student in school and even worse in English. I couldnÕt have made two words rhyme if I tried. Yet in 1990 when I came back to Jesus after staying in the world and backsliding, the gift became apparent and I have written verse ever since.

First comes the inspiration and then comes he words as they seem to fall together to form yet another poem. The inspiration may be as much as a pastor comparing people in church to those who go to football games. Or asking for the Holy Ghost to fall on you and getting the answer that is you are looking for Him you must go inside yourself.

At any rate these poems that I have written are of God and from God and to God be all the glory.

My God talks to me in poetry The things he reveals to me Though it is hard to understand They are written with His holy hand

For all that is given to me Is through the Holy Spirit You see For He speaks to me as I write Sitting there quietly in the night

I am His fingers on the keyboard understand Just the pen in His holy hand Yet the words that flow through me Are those of the God Almighty

You might say why has God chosen you This kind of work to do But mine is not a question why For I must only comply
