About the Book
Increasing numbers of people are involved in relationships with a significant other contemplating: divorce, due to acts of physical, emotional, verbal abuse, and low self-esteem.
People all over the world have made this statement: "Lord if you get me out of this I'll never do it again."
This story is about a single parent with a midlife crisis at the age of 33, feeling that she probably needs to get married so that she won't be an old maid. She doesn't take time to let the man pursue her, but picks out a guy from the old neighborhood where she grew up and assumed that she knows this cat. They met at a party held at her cousin's house and had not seen him in 15 years. If she could turn back the hands of time, she would have gone with gut instinct to stay home and wait on what God had in store for her. They began dating for 6 months and got married after living together for 3 months. She finds out after saying "I do" that she married the wrong man or needless to say, the representative. The marriage went from spending quality time together, communicating, and precious moments with children. Then the drama began when Tomarcus stopped taking care of his responsibilities at home and allowed the night life with his personal demons of drug addiction to destroy his family unit. The guiding force to keep Tonya mentally sane is God for strength through: singing praise and worship songs, praying, and crying many tears of desperation for help. Her biggest support system is her family, church members, friends, and a great pastor for counseling about challenges at home with a substance abuser.
