About the Book
You Are Dying! So What. is a remarkable book that needed to be written for the person who has an incurable disease or is terminally ill. The book offers insight as to how the terminal person can help loved ones (their survivors) cope with the situation and adjust to a future without them. It shows the terminally ill person that they can create positive steps toward helping their survivors as well as themselves. The book explains why dying is referred to as a simple declaration of “So what.”
You Are Dying! So What. deals with the initial diagnosis through final preparations by providing personal accounts of real-life family and friend experiences. It explores the difficulties faced during the initial diagnosis. “The Wilson Survivor Wellness Guide” offers a practical checklist of all the steps that should be considered for a person to support their loved ones, family, and friends. Individual chapters explain the purpose and importance of a living will and a last testament will. There are also ideas for funeral preparedness and creativity. The book identifies multiple ways to reassure loved ones, family, and friends throughout all the stages. A highlight is the illustration of one person’s story of preparedness for the family that will astonish and amaze the reader as to what will power and strength can accomplish. Lastly, the book provides mission and meaning for the dying person: a way to give back to the family and a way to leave a legacy of strength and compassion for future generations. Those who have read You Are Dying! So What. have enthusiastically responded with gratitude for the guidance, practical tips, and messages it shares.
