Kikli is a very unique book which encourages the use of multicultural games and dances in our schools to promote cultural awareness. It enhances the understanding of diversity and provides children with an opportunity to share their culture through the sounds of another language.

About the Author

Rupi Sandhu lives with her family in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Extensive traveling and teaching in different parts of the world has given her the opportunity to learn about different cultures and children's issues. Working in a multicultural environment has inspired her to write the dual-language books which promote cultural awareness and encourage children to develop a better understanding of diversity.

Rupi is also the author of the dual-language book I'm Ready To Go To My New School, which reflects the concerns of children who face challenges in various cultural environments. Also, Banners of Good Manners.
