About the Author

Frank Alexander Wray, the great nephew of Mary Adelaide Robertson Webb, inherited all her literary writings. He was born in 1952 on the historical Eastern Shore of Virginia and was educated at Broadwater Academy, Exmore, Virginia, the Eastern Shore Community College, Melfa, Virginia, and Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. His paramount interest throughout his life has always been the craft of writing.

Today he resides in the Victorian town of Parksley, Virginia on the Eastern Shore with his wife, Shirley, and continues pursuing his love of writing.

Mary Adelaide Robertson Webb (1871-1944) the daughter of Sara and George Robertson, and the oldest of thirteen children was born in Petersburg, Virginia. She was educated at Petersburg College, Petersburg, Virginia and excelled in Latin and English Composition. She was married to Doctor Robert T. Webb, a prominent Methodist Minister and an Educator and was a member of the Western Virginia Conference.

Mrs. Webb was a poet at heart and she was also a talented author. It was always her deepest desire to share her literary talents with others and to express her innermost thought on paper. Fortunately, through the course of time her literary works were preserved for the benefit of mankind.
