About the Book

Retired counselor recounts her three years of retirement. Authoring four books, hiking in Cinque Terra, revisiting Puerto Rico after a 20-year absence, chaperoning middle-school students on a trip to Boston and volunteering for past three years in a bilingual (Spanish/English) kindergarten class are a few of the author's adventures!

About the Author

Since retiring from school counseling in 2001, Jean has authored five books. In addition to local speaking engagements and book signings, she finds time to volunteer two mornings a week as a bilingual (Spanish/English) kindergarten tutor and assists 5th grade enriched reading students at an elementary school in Rochester, N.Y.’s inner city. She also has continued traveling to Italy, Puerto Rico, and visits family in Arkansas.
