About the Author

Coming to Vancouver from a Prairie Farm was a huge change for me. My years of being a farmer's daughter gave me a huge appreciation for books. The few books that were available gave me much pleasure and I always wanted to write.

Most of my stories are based on true experiences mostly with my Family and Friends. I love Children and have always worked with them one way or another, so there have been many opportunities for ideas. A great deal of inspiration has come from over twenty years of being with the youngsters in Children's Ministry at my Church. Working in the School System, and with many other young people has touched my heart and given me creative thoughts.
