About the Book

In a nation where approximately 50% of married couples are rapidly calling it quits, a new type of relationship between unmarried couples is on the rise: shackin'! The Shackin' Attraction is a pro/con book that explores the various reasons couples use to validate their choice to shack (cohabitate) followed by a valid argument why couples shouldn't cohabitate. This book is a plea for couples to embrace marriage vs. cohabitation in the 21st century; and, is sure to provide tremendous insight into the misconceptions of "shackin'." Chapters include interesting perspectives, such as It's Cheaper (Chapter 1), Easy Entrance, Easy Exit (Chapter 4), and I love him/her.I think (Chapter 5). Study questions are also included for each chapter, which better assist couples in addressing and overcoming relationship issues. Written from a humorous and heartfelt perspective, the reader is sure to procure sage advice and re-think, if they are currently considering, the "shackin'" situation and it's many pitfalls versus it's meager rewards.

About the Author

Sky M. Burks is a native of Nashville, Tennessee. She is a University of Memphis Alumnus where she procured a degree in Journalism with a Public Relations concentration. Sky resides in Memphis, Tennessee and is a licensed insurance agent.
