About the Book
Make Time So You Can Live Life is designed to help everyone realise we all deserve to be stress free, stress is caused by being caught up in the busy-ness of life and failing to realize we can make time for ourselves. We do not need to run ourselves ragged. All too often we are running our life's motorcar on empty, the stress was caused by the increased pressure of wondering, do I have enough fuel to get to the next petrol station. The problems arise when we push ourselves too far, running out of time or resources. We are left to walk alone on those busy highways of life, realizing that nobody was prepared to give you a lift. You should take time out and fill up; your fuel can be found in the "smell of a rose", "the smile of a baby", "the cutch of your sweetheart", "the joy of seeing your children play". To avoid running out you should carry "a can full of pleasures", when you take time out to consider this, stress ends and you can cover your journey of life with more cherished moments - you owe it to yourself and those dear to you.
This is the time when Make Time So You Can Live Life thinking can "kick in". This can take you places you had not considered before, little moments of sanctuary, escapism so to speak. During these moments you can pick up on several scenes; previously you would have passed by. You will observe nature a little differently, listen to people more intently, you will begin to understand where you fit into the great scheme of life.
Simply stated this book is culmination of a lot of thought, taken from the author's life's journey, we hope it will help you along your way.
About the Author
Robert was born in North Wales-during the "baby boomer era", son of a designer/draughtsman and former Cycling Champion of Great Britain. The author was raised in a busy home with three brothers and two sisters. A refining moment was when the author had to clear his parent's home after 50 years of occupancy. The families were faced with the challenge, what do you keep? And what should go to the rubbish dump? Observing how different people dealt with the choice of "legacy or loss" was an inspiration.
Educated at Yale Grammar School and Middlesex University.
He has harvested many times from life's experience, enjoying the roles as son, brother, father of four, friend, confidant, labourer, driver, warehouse operative, sales executive, missionary, manager, director, chairman, prison officer, group therapist and author. Each role has added its own thread to the rich tapestry of his life.
Make Time So You Can Live Life has taken five years to take form and it now sits as the first part of the Brain-where trilogy. Soon will follow Picture the Thought Your Road to Success and Release Yourself From the Prison of Your Mind.
