The arrival of the Spaniards, the conquest of Chile fighting against the powerful Araucania, the Colony and the Independence, in which national heroes in the height of Jose Miguel Carrera fought for the independence, having at the same time to suffer the pursuit incuced by the Masonic Lodges in which Bernardo O´Higgins and Juse de San Martin, the first one anxious to govern and the second one intending to annex Chile into Argentina, they planned a conspiracy against Jose Miguel Carrera and his family.

The pass of the Cavalry Army of the Andes, perfectly organized by General San Martin, with an imcomparable precision, having to fight against a very well supplied army and trained in Spain fighting against Napoleon.

Envies, rancours, betrayals, love affairs, secret children, all this from the beginning of the book is a very interesting adventure bassed on the historical reality.
