About the Book

Brenda Lianos came into this world with more baggage than anyone should have to bear...a dysfunctional family, a troubled voyeuristic half brother and an alternate personality who is the moral opposite of the prim and proper Brenda. While the alternate personality is cognizant of everything in Brenda's world, Brenda has no knowledge or memory of what takes place during her time lapses in which the alternate personality is in control.
Psychiatrist, Brenda Lianos occasionally profiles for the City Police Department where she met Homicide Detective Lieutenant Brooks DeLaney. While attracted to each other, their relationship had not progressed beyond working luncheons until Brenda's alternate personality entered the picture and promoted incidents in a character change in which Brenda has no memory and was puzzling to Brooks.
When Brooks DeLaney and partner Tim O'Malley responded to what was believed to be a third prostitute killing, it was determined to be a copy cat. Although the scene arrangement was similar to the ritualistic prostitute killings, the victim was not a prostitute but Brenda's physical trainer. Complicating matters were elements in the ritualistic arrangement that had never been released to the media...inside knowledge?

About the Author

From a very early age Wendell, a retired Electrical Egineer, has been interested in Crime Detection, having read countless detective magazines and novels. More recently he has developed a fascination for the phenomenon of Multiple Personalities. Combining the two interests, Wendell has created his first Novel...The Deception.
