About the Author
Cherry Price-Palmer is dedicated to the emancipation of women from domestic violence. Proceeds from this book will be donated to shelters all over the world so women can be educated about the reasons for their victimization and obtain psychological tools to start the process of crawling out of their unworkable home environment before their self-esteem perishes. Courage doesn’t outlive murder.
Cherry is a survivor of childhood incest by her biological father, and numerous other unprovoked violent crimes until she got saved by God, who supernaturally gave her the courage to realize she can stay free from oppressive and dangerous human predators.
Cherry is 58 years old, born in Palo Alto, California, raised in ritzy Los Altos Hills. She attended the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco. She went to different colleges to become certified in various aspects of medicine, after which she became certifiable in life, spending several months in a psychiatric hospital receiving polypharmaceutical treatment for bipolar disease, became incarcerated in several shelters for battered women after a precipitous marriage to Mr. Wrong, decided to take her power back, kick the habit of psychotropic prescriptions and become restored to sanity by God’s Good Grace.
Twice divorced after 32 years of marriage to two other losers, who tormented and tortured her physically, mentally and bringing her to financial ruin, incurred multiple surgeries, until a near-death experience led her to realize she can face that one giant fear of living all alone and find herself, with God’s abiding wisdom and love within her, which led to the creation of this book, which seeks to humorously enlighten women around the world who are forever searching for that always-elusive “Mr. Right.” This concept is a myth and it still takes labor of love to make a successful marriage work through timely communication, affection and the willingness to say “I’m sorry” and mean it; realize adultery can take many forms, including financial, emotional and spiritual. Collaborating together in partnership with her third husband has been a gratifying and ethereal experience for both of them. Cherry’s inspirational people were Dr. Seuss, Groucho Marx, Rod Serling and Santa Claus. Her hobbies include creating collage sculptures. The hope is that all who read this book gain a modicom of insight into their own dysfunctional behavior as it relates to choosing a permanent, loving and peaceful companion in their lives. This book was conceived in love and written through tears.
