Tina Gilks has been an animal care provider for six years in New York City, where she specializes in the care and rehabilitation of animals with special needs, including those with medical and behavioral issues. She lives with her partner, Kenny Heege, and their daughter, Kayla Reese. My Dog Mo is her first book.
