About the Book
Born in the western state of Wyoming in the 30’s, her point of view was influenced by the visual and written history of the West that surrounded her; where the Sioux roamed and established their winter camps, and western ranchers, like her father and grandfathers before him, attempted to survive the Great Depression, a major draught, and a World War. These events shaped her early years and taught that hardship and discipline meant survival for a nation and its people. She raised her three children mostly as a single parent and has had a long life of good health and love for family; including her three grandchildren. She presently lives in the North Texas Hill Country with her two pups, Beau and Bandit.
