About the Book

A delightful children’s story where they can use their imagination and meet Wersel, a small piece of driftwood who has had many adventures and makes lots of friends along the way. He always returns to his family and his best friend, Cuthbert Crab.

About the Author

The author came to British Columbia, Canada, from England thirty-five years ago. She was always fascinated by the pieces of driftwood she found on the beaches. When she was unable to find a children’s story about the west coast to send to her granddaughter in England, she decided to write one.
