About the Author
A. Benton Phillips is retired from the Military having served in the navy aboard submarines and on active duty with the Army National Guard Artillery. He is a graduate of Delgado Jr. College and Loyola University in New Orleans. After retiring from the Army he went back to serve in the family support office during the Gulf war.
He says, “I saw first hand the enormous problems of the families of the troops. No group who is willing to give so much for their country should have to worry about their country taking care of them.”
