About the Author

Emily J. Ruffner lived with her family on an acre in Southern California many years ago, She was recently inspired ro tell rhe story of Mary, one of the chickens, and how she raised a family. Emily now is 86 years young, and lives in Granada Hills, California with her husband and one of her sons.
