I have three angel fish. I have one sucker fish. I have two snails and a lot of tetra fish. My first sucker fish was named Skeeter. He grew too big so we took him to the pet store and got a little sucker fish. Her name is Leesa.

About the Book
One day my six-year-old daughter came to me and said, “Daddy, I want to be an author and illustrator. Not all authors illustrate their own books. How do you spell illustrated?” The book she was writing in was a blank, hardcover book that my wife picked up at an arts-and -crafts store. She diligently wrote and drew in this book until it was completed. She had written and illustrated a book about the fish in her aquarium—done completely in crayon. I want her, and you, to realize that you can make your dreams happen. If you want to be an author, you can be. There are no limits to what you can accomplish—at any age.
About the Author
Elli McMillan is six years old and in first grade. She loves her fish and wanted to write about them. She also enjoys taking dance, playing the piano, playing dress up, and having pretend fashion shows. She hopes that you enjoy her book.
