About the Book
Angel Feather is an enlightening children’s story with an underlying spiritual tone that gives readers a sense of hope that miracles do happen. This story encourages children to believe in life’s spiritual powers that sometimes cannot be seen or explained. Little and big miracles do happen in life even though sometimes we don’t see them.
About the Author
I am a Tucson, Arizona, native and share my life with my husband Paul and two children Brittney and Nicholas. My love for drawing started at the age of six. Throughout my school years, I developed a joy for writing. I bought many books for my children and read to them every night. I enjoyed watching their faces as the words of different authors filled their minds with magical or inspirational stories. Some stories were silly and fun to read, but others left a lasting impression on my children today. I wrote Angel Feather many years ago but was not ready to get it published. While I worked on the story, white feathers randomly started to appear in my life on numerous occasions. One of the most unusual places was in a grocery store. As I was in the canned food aisle looking for soup, a tiny white feather slowly floated down right in front of my face. A second time, I remember driving my car and a large white feather landed on my windshield and did not move for miles, only until after I reached my destination and then it disappeared. To this day I still see white feathers in unusual places. A close friend of mine, Lydia, who read my story, has also noticed white feathers in her path. Every time one of us sees one, we let the other know and share a moment of its spiritual meaning. The feathers to me have been a “sign” to publish my book and share it with the world. I hope that as parents read this story to their children, it will touch their hearts, and they too will encounter their own angel feathers.
