Today, you officially begin a journey into the sacred sanctuary of your innermost being. As you embark on this journey, you will encounter other parallel worlds to your existence filled with wondrous surprises at the higher levels of consciousness and perilous challenges existing in the underworld of your mind. All you discover will provide a mirror to your self, allowing you to discern what is real and what is false about you, within the many reflections of your personal self. Your Soul, on the other hand, shall provide you with everything you need to know about yourself on multidimensional levels of being. For instance, you will learn to make contact with your Soul by entering higher states of consciousness through meditation and prayer. Your Soul shall provide you with distant memories about all you have been across time. It shall reveal the many resources, talents, and abilities that remain dormant within you from your many lives, but nevertheless remain accessible to you. Your Soul shall return to you the power to vanquish any and allevil that challenges your life. It shall also provide Keys linking you to the power of Divine consciousness to be remembered and reclaimed during the Initiations to come. You were born into this world for a reason. The moment you were born, the entire world shifted on its axis to make room for your presence. Your unique journey became imprinted upon the collective grid of infinite possibilities. These possibilities materialized instantly in many directions, giving you endless opportunities for choices. Each choice you make materializes a pathway before you in a given direction. The experiences along a pathway result in your joy or sorrow, your self-empowerment or your self-destruction. It will be up to you whether you shall become imprisoned by fear, or whether you shall strive to claim the power of love even in the face of challenging and painful realities. Whenever you find yourself moving in a direction where you feel unworthy or feel compromised in any way, you can make contact with your Soul to assist you in changing directions. Only your Soul can guide you out of the painful realities of your existence and place you onto the path of exalted spiritual guidance and awareness. Finally, Jason spoke. “So you would like to know more about The Temples of The Goddess of the Sea, would you not?” “Yes, more than anything,” I replied, feeling quite humbled by his peaceful and loving energy. “Good, so let’s begin!” Jason said, smiling. He then began to speak of The Temples of the Goddess of the Sea as well as unimaginable things. “Sea creatures from all over The Kingdom of Oceana come to pay homage to The Great Mother Goddess at The Temples of the Goddess of the Sea, a holy refuge facing east, the direction of illumination, clarity, and wisdom. On holy ground every sea creature is sacred and is honored as a unique creation of The Great Mother Goddess.” “But Jason,” I cut in without excusing myself, as his words pierced my flesh with distress. “How could vicious predators be sacred when it is because of them we always have to defend against them?” “Because life is sacred, “ Jason answered, with quiet emphasis. It was only after sea creatures separated in consciousness from The Great Mother Goddess that they began to struggle for survival at the expense of one another, rather than to love one another in peaceful coexistence. Nabyss brought on the Darkness that descended upon The Kingdom of Oceana because in his ignorance, he believed dominion was to be gained by coercion rather than love. Having free will, he was at liberty to act out his will even though it went against the principles of life and order. When Solar chose to stop his brother, he made the mistake of coercing his brother rather than wooing his brother to change. As a result, Nabyss was cast into Darkness in exile and became known by different names such as The Great Father of Darkness, The Great Lord of the Dead, and the most popular name he is known by is Egoson.” “Why Egoson?” “It is the name given to Nabyss because he became the consummate egotist, thinking only of himself in all things, without having any regard for life. When he split from Divine consciousness, he wanted to rule as the one and only god. “Why is he also called The Great Lord of the Dead?” “Because Egoson takes everything there is to take, sucking the life force out of sea creatures whenever given the chance, and still, it is not enough until his sister Death comes knocking!” “What a horror! I thought you said Solar had stopped his brother?” “Yes, but only in a manner of speaking. Perhaps we can discuss Egoson at a later time. It is only important to know that Solar descended into creaturehood to learn the lessons that would ultimately bring him full circle to face his brother again. Do you understand so far?” “Yes, I follow.” “Good. Now where was I?” “You were saying that on holy ground every sea creature is sacred.” “Yes. On holy ground every sea creature is sacred for the ordinary laws of nature do not apply and are meaningless, for no predator can trespass onto holy ground without having their killing instincts disarmed. The exquisite vibration of that holy refuge neutralizes the lower instincts, which includes killing for survival sake and the needs that propel such instincts to thrive. That is why the moment a sea creature enters holy ground, a healing takes place instantly at the levels of mind, body, and Soul, as its hunger is lifted, and internal harmony is restored on all levels of being.” “Excuse me, Jason. What do you mean by Soul?” “All sea creatures, as well as you and I, are Souls who enter physical bodies to experience our own individuality within the shifts and changes of time. While your body can be destroyed, the energy of your consciousness existing as your Soul cannot be destroyed.” “Really, Jason? Why is that? “Because your Soul is eternal.” “Are you saying my Soul exists independently of my body?” “Yes, I am. The body is but an empty husk with no life of its own without the animating life-force consciousness of your Soul. As such, the body is but a vehicle possessed by your Soul to align you with the destiny you are meant to fulfill in this reality called life.” End of Excerpt

Why this book? During 2012 and beyond, humanity is faced with prophecies that predict an apocalyptic end. What are we to do? The Education of Innocence is the Soul’s raison d’etre for existence. It is the Mystery that has existed behind the Soul’s journey across time. This story metaphorically addresses what caused our fall from grace and what compells our ascent into power, shattering the devastating illusions of the world, capable of bringing about a shift where anything becomes possible. The Education of Innocence is set in the Kingdom of Oceana on the Planet of Galexia. It is an underwater world where the Temples of the Goddess of the Sea is the only place where sea creatures are safe from deadly predators of the deep. The story begins with the birth of Little Sol, an innocent, who faces terrifying challenges in the ocean depths. Little Sol's journey becomes an awakening to higher consciousness balanced between bewildering, life-threatening situations mixed with wondrous magical encounters with sea creatures of all kinds. One such sea creature is Jason, a giant sea turtle, who becomes his mentor and explains the nature of reality and the challenges he must overcome when confronted by evil. He introduces him to The Sacred Sea Scrolls that speak of a prophecy of the return of the Original Ancestry of the Gods, Immortals of unparalleled powers, to be known in Book II. Little Sol faces his greatest challenge when he stumbles upon The Dance of the Sacred Spiral of Life, a prophesied event where The Sacred Sea Dragons of legend make their appearance and mark him with a destiny that must come into remembrance. [That destiny is the same every Soul must understand to become liberated from the challenges of the world of duality.] If not for the sorcery magic of the Wizard Domaine, the Gatekeeper between Worlds, Little Sol would have remained in the Underworld of Death, possessed by evil he must still face in the future. The Final Reckoning heralds a time of total freedom or absolute destruction before the raging forces of Darkness. The Temples of the Goddess of the Sea must marshall the greatest powers of the Mysteries to overcome the threat that lies before them.

Sonya Flores Lugo, Ph.D, is the Founder of Pathways to Soul Mastery, an educational institution created for the sole purpose of evolving the gifts and attributes of the Soul. Sonya Flores Lugo got her B.A. from Hunter College in New York City and did part of her undergraduate courses at Harvard University. She obtained her Masters & Ph.D from a theological college in Florida. She has also studied with Shamans (medicine men) of the Andes and Amazon Jungles of Peru to better understand the Soul. After 25 years of ongoing research into the Soul, she refers to herself as a Dr. of the Soul.
