Wind was in charge of blowing the winds from pole to pole, Fire was in charge of keeping a flame on and burning whatever was on his path with powerful flames, Water was in charge of keeping clean water in the oceans, rivers, lakes and streams, and Earth was in charge of keeping the ground healthy and forests green. Viento estaba a cargo de soplar los vientos de polo a polo, Fuego estaba a cargo de mantener una luz donde se le necesitara y de quemar lo que estuviera a su paso con sus poderosas flamas. About the Author
Gabriela Gil Hong, is the eldest of six children. Her parents raised their family near the ocean, rivers, and lagoons of eastern Mexico where Gabriela and her siblings were constantly immersed in Nature’s beauty. Her childhood experiences imbued Gabriela with a deep respect for all forms of life. She even regarded the chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, and a goat that she grew up with as member of the family.
Gabriela put herself through University in Mexico. Upon migrating to the U.S., she earned a Certificate in Early Childhood Education from UCLA. She is an active member of a community based non-profit where she has earned more child care credentials.
