About the Book

The Fire House 123 book was written with many things in mind. As most of us all encounter in our younger years, we dream one day of becoming a firefighter! Parents can take a journey along with there child as they take a tour through the firehouse and learn about numbers and different types of tool's used by firefighter's !

About the Author

Born in 1965, Joe Lenahan is a second generation volunteer firefighter from a small town in Montauk , New York. Over the last 27 years, the author has helped educate many young firefighters coming up through the ranks in Firefighting, Rescue Operations and Technical Rescue. The author has also worked along side his fellow firefighter's to help educate the children around the community about fire prevention and the dangers of playing with matches. My drive to write this book was brought to fruition after remembering my younger years of going down to the local fire house with my dad and helping him clean the fire trucks and helping my dad during fire department fundraisers.
