This booklet is a sampling of words. Give it your time. Let these words bring you to a place where only words can take you. Here, I hope you should sample good things.
About the Author
Introduction: Dearest Reader, Writing involves going beyond the act of crafting words onto a blank sheet. That is the activity of the fingers—gripping a pen, scribbling on a piece of paper, moving across a keyboard, in it of itself does not suffice in describing a writer’s work. Writing in its artistic form of sharing involves captivating/capturing something living and sharing the life of the captured. It only retains its power when it is able to share and replicate with its reader the life that is found in its words. What then should be said? What words are important? What words are worthy enough for you the listener? In the midst of speaking, every speaker should consider these questions as these words may pertain to the hearer. Allow me a moment of your time. Let me bring you to a place where only words can take you. From me I hope you should sample and taste good things. Here are some samplings: i. Streams of consciousness flow as one, The fabrics of minds are interwoven, And their weaver is Lord of them all. ii. Grace pours from Heaven’s gates. It finds its current between you and I; and it runs as a recycling river. The following is a collection of poems that were crafted through several years. In publishing this work, I make acknowledgement of possible errors and apologize beforehand for any distaste you may find. Revisions may follow. Sincerely, Britteny Tang
