Moment
Whilst still, at once
The sound of birds, so many tunes
Mingled with the strains of motor cars
As the dry breeze blows
The scent of flowers grows
And embraces the aroma of herbs
You can see colours, slowly
You can taste the promise of rain
A certain chorus, dogs in the distance
An indistinct song, infants at play
Something feels smooth
Someone feels warm
You tingle from the touch of Love
A million sensations
Suspended on your senses
Existence sublime
This moment in time.
Whilst quiet, now
The humming pulses of praying hearts
Dance to the rhythms of swaying trees
As the tears softly flow
And lives come to know
The beautiful splendor of Spirit’s light
You can hear harmony, loudly
You can smell the fragrance of dreams
A certain vision, butterflies waltzing
An indistinct picture, a sky changing dress
Something feels sheer
Someone feels near
You melt from the massage of minds
Infinite ecstasy
In these motionless feelings
Existence surreal
The moment we heal.
