About the Book
...And now as you recall from the last readings of the story... The adventures of Matt, Crowbar and Shane in the lost city by the bay, is a fantasy about a young Man and his dog Crowbar. Shane is a friend he meets while starting out on his adventure. Zachariah the narrator is reading the story to an audience of young students. The year is 4014. Of course Matt being stubborn went on his quest to find the lost city that his father tells him about. Along the way he meets Mr. McCormick, a man who befriends him, and his son Shane. Later on Shane joins Matt on his search. They eventually come to a long bridge which they cross to reach their destination, and while there, seeing many houses and buildings in disrepair. Meanwhile, there are many strange things in the ancient city; A building that looks like an arrow, a talking automobile, food that appears at the touch of a button, a transporter, Zelda the robot, and of course SL-570 the servant.
About the Author
Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Anthony was drawn to California As a young man in 1959. Shortly after, he obtained a series of odd jobs while living in Los Angeles. He then came to San Francisco and got work in a restaurant as a short order cook. He also did some work as a room service waiter in one of the big hotels. On his days off, his hobbies were pen and ink abstract drawings. Now he writes adventure stories.
