Golden Crown I woke up in the world one day I was ready to walk away. On the horizon a golden crown smiling told me: I am proud. And happily I said: Nice day and he said to me: I am smiling all day. Then I walk to school and my teacher smiling said: Bonjour. And happily I said: I know today the sun is smiling all day and the teacher said: I know it is a summer day. And then the summer when away and it was a winter day. I woke up in the dark one day thinking of a summer day. And then I walked to school and my teacher said: Bonjour. Very happy smiling I said: I am growing up day after day, I learn the days, the seasons, the years spring, summer, winter, fall, those are the seasons I love them all. But most of all when I walk to school I like to see the golden crown smiling at me and tell me: I am proud. My Room is Perfect in Size Many may be impressed with a big house, with many rooms and large but this room of mine is just fine. Not small, not too large in size it is just perfect, a bed in one corner and a desk across five feet long. Windows on the west side a door on the east corner and a small round table with three chair in all. When we seat around the table and we play interesting games with Michael and Evan there is plenty of room for fun. And we play game after game and there are some screams and lots, lots of laughter, how alive the room becomes and it loose its size. And then when it is quite I look back and I think of how cozy this room is and how perfect it is in size. Not too large, not too small for good times to last, as the screams and the laughter through the door and the windows circle for long time around.

About the Book
This book began a long time ago, it began with the feelings I had for children through the years; first from watching children playing in the playground and later from spending time with my nephews. Filled with an abundant wealth of emotions the poetry came out naturally, effortlessly as an expression of my love and joy from being around them. My favorite sounds are the stormy sounds of children playing in the playground; I always thirst for those exhilarating sounds and I always enjoy watching children at play. I am always happy been around them, they excite me and in return I like to excite them, they exalt me and I very much like to exalt them. I hope I can give back a little, I wish I can do that with my poems.
About the Author
Hari Kleia, being for years an architect and an artist educated in Greece, Belgium and in New York City; as if to express her ideas and feelings in forms and colors was not sufficient enough; she felt the necessity to express herself in words too. And though English was her third language she did not get discouraged but let her enthusiasm free to playfully create and in this book poetry for children. This is her third book of poetry for children.
