Subtle Deceptions Deception is one of the primary ways Satan has worked destruction in the lives of many well-meaning Christians. The most effective way to lead God's children out of the light and into the darkness is the subtleness of lies covered in truth. The bible was designed to keep us on course and in fellowship with the Father as we fulfill our earthly assignments. We are over saturated as a nation with copies of the book that we all once held sacred. Problem is too few of us actually read the bible these days. We are still one nation under God, there are more believers in America than some would want us to believe. More believers in the world than the media acknowledge. Negative news reports, tragedies and a flood of fear mongers. Fear is the primary weapon used to control and unsuspecting population. But perfect love cast out all fear, perfect love can only be come from God and studying the word of God. As we stray away from reading the word of God we lose touch with the God of the word and allow all manner of evil to enter into our hearts as well as defilement of the house of God. How much of our service to God is accepted by God? We are admonished to examine ourselves daily, to insure our offerings of praise and worship are not tainted with things that God would reject. When we rely on others to perform our service to God we invite error. Misinterpretation opens the doors allowing superstitions and fables to attach themselves to the foundational belief system of the believer. Only through a personal search for God's heart can we know His mind. Pick up your bible, sweep off the dust, ask the Holy Spirit for understanding of what you read. Truth shatters all altars of falsehood and deception, with a cleaning wave of truth and the power of the inner witness. The rewards are beyond comprehension. 2 Corinthians 11: 14-15 NLT But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.

About the Author
Kenneth Fairbanks was born and raised in Decatur, AL. He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Faithworks Ministries located in Greensboro, NC where he also serves on the policy level of several community organizations. In 2008 Pastor Fairbanks became CEO for Faithworks International Pastoral Alliance also headquartered in Greensboro, NC. Accomplishments like well projects to completing campus for 2000+ orphans called Morga Star Academy located in Nairobi Kenya. It is the second largest in the country with the largest number of orphans that have lost their parents to HIV-AIDS. God has given him vision for many other projects in the future. Kenneth Fairbanks is a great visionary and has compassion for ministry and for all people. One of his greatest assets is his ability to sense the heart and pulse of God. When he speaks he does not speak as men speak, but listens intently to the voice of the Spirit of God, and then shares God’s heart with his creation.
