Do you ever have a feeling that you are not alone when you are? Or that you are being observed? What about seeing that image flash before you, as if someone, or something, ran from one room in your home to another? Do you set something down on a table, and a moment later it is missing, only to be found after you have given up looking? How about hearing distinct noises that upon investigation do not exist, and could not exist? Have you felt a touch, or a tickle on your neck or hair? What about unusual odors when the source cannot be located? Does your furniture move without you moving it, such as a rocking chair rocking, or a toilet seat in the up position when it was purposefully closed? Do your pets react to something that you cannot see or hear?

Jari laughed and handed me Nari and said, “Matt, Nari needs a new diaper.”
I laid Nari down on Jari’s bed and turned to pick up another diaper. I turned back, but couldn’t see Nari and I assumed that Jari picked her up and was holding her. Jari was right. She really wet her diaper. It was saturated and heavy. I picked up the wet diaper and disposed of it in the trash can next to the bed. I carefully laid out the new diaper and asked Jari to hand me Nari.
Jari replied, “I don’t have her. You laid her on the bed. Where is my daughter?”
I could see Jari panicking and I feared that the room would be full of guards looking for Nari. I quickly said, “Jari, before you call your guards, let’s backtrack and see what could have happened to Nari.”
I then said, “I picked up Nari and had her lay on the bed so I could change her. I picked up a new diaper and I realized that Nari was gone. I threw away her diaper and asked you for Nari.”
Jari began laughing and said, “Matt, you threw away our daughter!”
I asked, “How did I do that?”
Jari said, “Remember, I can be in a solid, liquid or gas form. Apparently our daughter can do likewise. I suspect that she changed to a liquid form and filled up her diaper. You thought it was a wet diaper when it was actually Nari. Jari said, it is somewhat funny when you think about it.”
The nurse walked in and asked who had the baby? I replied, “I did, and will have her back in a couple minutes.”
The nurse said, “I’ll be back in five minutes.”
I picked up the diaper and tickled the water on the diaper. My daughter appeared in solid form again and I held her before handing her to Jari. I broke down laughing again. As I handed Nari to her mother, Nari peed all over her.”
Jari said, “You know that this never happens to my people. We don’t pee on others. She laughed again and handed me Nari for another diaper. I looked at Jari and my daughter and knew that this was going to be a lot of fun.”

I asked, “What intruders are you talking about. The security alarms are active. We do not have an intruder.”
Jari replied, “It is much worse than that. One of my guards sought to end my existence and that of Nari. My other guard observed him and realized that the guard was heading to our bedroom. He captured the guard and is holding him for me to judge. “
I replied, “That’s impossible. I thought your guards were sworn to protect your security at all cost.”
Jari replied, “Even our race has traitors.”
I left our bathroom and was shocked to see our home was filled with Tolasian warriors. Nothing could move in our home without their observation. The warriors ignored me, but when Jari entered the hallway with Nari, they dropped to one knee and lowered their heads. It was then that I realized that Jari and Nari were real royalty.

As I sat talking with my parents, Zorn ran in and said, “I can’t find Ann. I think she went down the drain. I was watching her and she was under the shower and then nothing.” Jari and I ran into the pool area, followed closely by my parents, Keri and Deri. I had never thought about the children falling into a drain while in liquid form. I knew that she would be physically all right, but she could be frightened if she came out of the drain in a strange place like a water treatment plant.
I heard my father ask, “What drain? That little thing! How is a child going to fall into that drain?” Jari touched my arm and said, “Sorry Matt, but I need to get Ann back.” My parents watched Jari turn to liquid and dive into the drain. We waited, and in five minutes Jari appeared with Ann. Ann was crying and I picked her up and comforted her. Ann said, “Sorry Daddy. I sneezed and when I did, I changed into water and fell into the drain.” I reassured Ann that everything would be all right. I asked Nari to get her swimsuit for her.

Jari and I, along with Keri and Deri, went back a long way from tickles and kisses to marriage, children and now grandchildren. I wondered what it would be like to be married to an alien. I can tell you that Jari is near perfect. The only improvement is that I share this life with my loving sister, Keri who fulfills my human side of life.
I know that Keri and I have many experiences to share together as we will never die. Our love, and that of our spouses, makes us immortal. Our children and grandchildren make us eternal.
As I write these memories, my granddaughter Brooke has joined me and whispered into my ear, “Grandpa, I am ready to marry Hudson and bring you a great grandchild. I say, “And life goes on.” Brooke giggled like the sweet little girl that she is and said, “Grandpa, just kidding.”
