This story is a battle of wills. It details the struggle between two equally clever adversaries. Griselda Grouse is fiercely determined to keep the squirrel away from her bird feeder so she can save all the seeds for the birds. She devises all manners of tricks to keep the squirrels away. But the squirrels are amazingly resilient creatures, and Griselda soon learns that she should not have underestimated her furry foes.
About the Author
The Great Squirrel Rebellion is the second children’s book written and illustrated by Gowon Fisher. The colorful pictures, fun rhyme, and intriguing storyline are sure to delight children. Fisher grew up in Upstate New York. This is where he currently resides. He received a bachelor degree in psychology from Fredonia State University. He has worked extensively in the human service field as substance abuse counselor. Fisher enjoys writing stories about animals. His greatest hope is to have one of his stories become part of a child’s fond memories as they advance in age.
