That Generation

About the Book

This book is about the generation of the author’s grandparents, how it is different to his own and the recent generations. It is a compilation of poems and images portraying their life and how they lived in the past.

About the Author

The author grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Summers were spent on the Griner farm. After serving four years in WW2 and receiving a Purple Heart, plus two commendations, he attended college in California. When he went to a church beach party, he met his dream gal. When she died they had been married fifty-nine years. Now he is living in the desert where he continues writing and has published eight books.
