About the Book
Trident is a collection of Scott Byorum’s poetry written from his late teens into his early forties. It is presented in three distinct chapters that represent progressive phases of his life and his perceptions of it. The overarching theme of the book is Scott’s struggle with acceptance, love, loss, mental health, and the outside world. The concepts and ideas expressed in this book are of the author’s interpretive imagination only but based on his real experiences.
About the Author
Scott has a BA in Psychology from Sonoma State University. He has always been interested in art, writing, and music and resides in Guerneville, CA, with his 2 Turkish Angora cats: Monkey and Flower.
