About the Book

is the third installment to Cooper’s line of poetry following look & see me and fading footprints. As with Cooper’s previous works, we are taken to a place that sometimes can only be found between a thought and a dream. Happy and sad both haunt the following pages. With simple illustrations and striking images this book should reach out and touch a feeling in every reader. Again, listening to the quiet is a continuation of Raymond Cooper’s philosophy and feeling about love and living.

About the Author

Raymond Cooper has traveled extensively throughout his life, and though spending much of his time in Hawai’i, also lives and writes in Aireys Inlet, Australia. He has worked as a lifeguard, flight attendant, photographer, actor, film director, gardener, and more. His skills as both a photographer and a writer allow him to share his most private thoughts and times with us. During a recent interview on a Boston radio program he was asked “what comes first – the words, or the image?” He answered “the feeling”
