About the Book

The stories include the following situations experienced by animals: a lamb who was lost and found by the Good Shepherd; a family of geese saved by strangers; a little dog who brings joy to the elderly; a Golden Retriever who is a service dog for a blind boy; and a German Shepherd who keeps farm animals calm in a time of danger.

About the Author

The author worked as a personnel specialist for the federal government for 33 years. She retired in 1997 and began a new career as a reading specialist after taking numerous courses in how to teach children and adults how to read. She has volunteered several days a week helping children in primary grades with reading problems for over 20 years at a local school. In 2015 she began writing children’s books and has published five books.
