THE PAPA SUTRA

About the Book

The Papa Sutra is a children’s book designed to tell the story of the Buddha in a simple way, and answer the questions of “Why is the world the way that it is?” and “How should one live their life?” In the second part of the book I deal with more specific questions that a child might have as they get older.

About the Author

Rev. Dr. Richard E. Kuykendall holds both a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctoral degree in Spirituality. He has served as a minister for over 35 years, and has led “Spiritwind,” a study group for spiritual adventurers for over 30 years. Kuykendall has done a retreat with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and is the author of seventeen books, including,: Buddhism for Beginners, The Way of the Earth, and A Spirituality of the Senses.
