About the Book
A journal of Cracker love. Complimentary observations of one of the world's most enduring ethnic groups. A sweet little nest of tributes to a very homey, hardy, ornery breed of people...their quirks and curiosity, gentleness and generosity...warm and personal. It ranges from witty and whimsical...to staunch and stalwart...to sensitive and spiritual. Just like Crackers themselves. It proves Crackers worship their ancestors...believe in themselves and each other...and reveals what is in their hearts. Written in a way everyone will enjoy reading. The unique format, the essays and the photographs steal one's heart away. The reader becomes a part of the book and feels completely at home. It is refreshing that it presents information on the origin of the name Cracker we have never seen before. This is the book Crackers have needed for a long time. Now they have it.
