About the Book

Roary is a very special stuffed lion who enjoys writing about life's big lessons. In this story he explores each of the seasons and learns about the many changes that unfold as time passes. Roary discovers that summer, fall, winter and spring are all different and wonderful in their own way. He also realizes that people and stuffed animals change just like the seasons do. Accepting a new change can be difficult, but Roary helps children to see that changes are happening all around us... and change can be good. His pictures and rhymes will take you on a journey that only Roary can create.

About the Author

After completing A Lion Like No Other, Roary decided that writing was his true calling. He is currently working hard on his third book (A Lion's Pause), which he hopes you will add to your book collection in the near future. Roary lives in London, Ontario with his best friends Lion, Laura and David Parker. He enjoys writing in the evenings, leaving his days open to napping, exploring, scratching and practicing his roar (typical lion-like activities). Roary is also a big advocate of the great outdoors and encourages all children and stuffed animals to get outside everyday of the year. Roary would like to thank James Christie for helping him with his Georgian Bay photo shoots (island friends are very special). Finally, Roary would like to remind everyone that big changes are always easier when a friend is close by your side (especially stuffed ones).
