About the Author
I am Mark Gregory Washer, author of the children’s book Blue Bonnie Butterfly. I love the way a young child looks at you when you answer their question. Early and often all children need to hear lessons about life. It is the duty of a parent to reinforce positive messages throughout the day. Story time should be taken seriously by the parent to develop the imagination of the child. I offer teachings concerning strength of character and freedom of the spirit. Educational tales to broaden vocabulary and challenge the mind to imagine what could be. I have had the pleasure of helping raise some of our future leaders. I am now a proud godfather as well! I have found as we teach our children we learn more from them. We learn the lessons of life together. I currently toil away as a mechanic at a tire factory in Topeka, Kansas. I have been dreaming of writing books for children. Dreams really do come true!
