About the Book

A Basket of Shamrocks is a collection of poetry written by Patricia Clark Smith. Her poetry reflects her faith and her love for family, nature, and creativity. Readers will enjoy poems about flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and mermaids; they will also read poems about the sun, the moon, the beach, and the school/classroom. Readers might even be inspired to write a poem or two of their own!

About the Author

Patricia Clark Smith, author of A Basket of Shamrocks and retired Connecticut Educator, enjoys time with her family and grandchildren; gardening; family celebrations; vacationing in Baiting Hollow, Long Island; art; and writing. In addition to A Basket of Shamrocks, she has published nine other children's books. She has also edited and/or illustrated children's books for local authors, Mollie Wilson and Kelly Smith Papa.
