About the Author

Ernest Boehnert is a retired schoolteacher. His teaching experiences have included students from the primary grade level to senior high school. For many years he taught English with all its components of grammar, punctuation, writing, and reading. After retirement, he began to write books for children. Ernest developed a phonetic approach for learning with his first book, The Great Alphabet Reminder Book, so as to help primary students become phonetically competent. The Magic Christmas Train and Christmas Dinner to Go' are heartwarming seasonal books for young audiences. Ernest currently resides in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
